Without knowing the history of a school, how can anyone truly respect their alma mater?

Arnold was commissioned in 1998 and opened for faculty and staff for the 2000-01 school year. In the schools 16 years it has grown to service between 1,600 to 1,800 students per school year. During Arnold's short tenure amongst the county, the school has managed to be the most successful schools in graduation rates, numerous athletics, and consistently finishes in the top for most academic categories.

The school serves as the only public school option in Panama City Beach and is located only a few blocks from the beach. Despite having the beach so close, Arnold has many athletes that have excelled in various sports such as: Boys Golf, Cross Country, Football, Girls Golf, Swimming, Volleyball, JV Football, Baseball, Softball, Tennis, Track & Field, Boys Weightlifting, Girls Weightlifting, Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, and Wrestling.

2016-17 State Level Teams:

Swimming - State Runner Ups

Volleyball - Elite Eight Finish

Girls Track - 44th

Boys Track - 27th

Boys Weightlifting - 14th

Boys Soccer - Sweet 16

Girls Soccer -Top 32

Wrestling - 5th

Arnold also finished with the highest test scores of any public school in Bay County this past year. The graduation rates at Arnold have also been consistently the highest for a number of years now too.
